A video featuring Sardar Rahimkhon, the deputy head of the "Waqf" fund and director of "Waqf" charitable affairs, circulated on social media, sparking discussions. The video depicts a python entering a house. The Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Namangan region responded to the situation.

It was reported that the snake in the video belongs to the private zoo "Kosonsoy Dorbozlari" in the Namangan region, which is registered with the state. The zoo director stated that the snake was taken for videotaping and returned shortly after. This snake, having been artificially fed, was accustomed to humans and did not pose any harm.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Ecology has submitted a draft resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers entitled "On measures to improve the order of keeping wild animals." This draft includes prohibitions on the use of wild animals in circus performances, carrying and walking them in public places, transporting them without special cages, taking photos and videos using animals, showing them on TV shows or other events, giving them to other persons, and selling or gifting them.
