Car traffic is restricted in some streets of Samarkand

The movement of vehicles will be temporarily restricted in some streets of Samarkand due to the New Year holiday.  This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

According to the order of the mayor of Samarkand, the movement of vehicles will be restricted in the following streets of the city until 5 January in order to prepare for the New Year celebration at a high level and organize the “President’s Tree” event:

In front of the statue of Amir Temur on University Avenue, on the entrance street to the regional musical drama theater and on Koksaroy Square;
At the intersection of Alisher Navoi and Kamal Ota Turk streets;
From the intersection of Beruni street with Rudakiy street to the railway station square;
In the 200-meter section of Turkistan Street, in front of the academic lyceum building of TATU Samarkand branch;
Chemists’ fortress in the part of Umid Street from the intersection of Ziyokorlar Street to Dargom Street;
Chemists’ fortress in the part of Dargom street that passed in front of the “Nurafshan” art palace;
Khishrav fortress in the section from the intersection of Zakovat Street with Almaty Street to Mevali Street;
Khishrav fortress in the part of Zakovat Street in front of the building of the 2nd Culture and Recreation Center;
In the streets adjacent to the “Zarafshan” amusement park in Farhad fortress;
In the adjacent streets passing in front of houses 99-116 in the Karasuv massif.
