In Samarkand, people are again poisoned en masse

49 people were poisoned by hot dogs in Samarkand region.  This was reported by the regional television and radio channel.

According to information, a woman and her 3 minor grandchildren ate hot dogs in a public catering center located on Rudaki Street in Samarkand.  Late in the evening, the grandchildren were admitted to the regional infectious diseases hospital with the diagnosis of nausea and high body temperature.

“A total of 49 people were hospitalized with this condition.  All of them had a change in their health after eating hot dogs at the “Fast-food” center located in the city center,” the report said.

The doctor treating them said that 29 of the patients brought to the hospital were sent home.  The remaining 20 are undergoing treatment.  Their situation is much better.

This restaurant is currently closed.  Products used there were taken for inspection.
