Today, on 19 October, there were cases of flooding of roads in the Samarkand region due to heavy rainfall. This was reported by the regional emergency department.

It is noted that the Samarkand Region Emergency Management Department and its city and district department employees, in cooperation with the relevant services, are carrying out the problems caused by rainfall, i.e. the water collected in the neighborhood streets and residents' yards using special equipment.

At this point, the Department of Emergency Situations asks residents to pay attention to the adjustment of irrigation networks.

There were reports on social networks that floodwaters washed away the highway in the Bulungur district after heavy rains.
