Fatal electric shock in Samarkand: Two workers died during camera installation

15501On June 8, two employees of a private company installing a surveillance camera in a store in the Toyloq district of the Samarkand region died after suffering an electric shock. The incident was confirmed by Fakhriddin Nuraliev, press secretary of "Regional Electric Networks" JSC, in response to a request from QALAMPIR.UZ.
According to reports, the workers were installing the camera in a store located in the Bogʻizagʻon neighborhood of the district. During the process, the employees accidentally touched a metal ladder to the overhead power transmission line belonging to the "Anzur" feeder. This contact resulted in both workers being fatally electrocuted.
Authorities have stated that further investigative measures are currently being carried out by the relevant organizations.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier, when a 26-year-old engineer died from an electric shock while installing a radar system in the Kibray district of the Tashkent region.
