Person who bought donkey meat detained in Samarkand (video)

Reports circulated on social media that 10-15 donkeys had been slaughtered in a canal. The Samarkand Regional Ecology Department responded to these reports.

It was noted that the case was investigated by state inspectors from the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Kattakurgan District, along with representatives from relevant organizations.

According to the report, a citizen living in the village of Shurak in the Kattakurgan District had set up a slaughterhouse at his home, where several donkeys were slaughtered and their meat sold.

The report further stated that the situation has been completely addressed, and the activities of the slaughterhouse have been stopped. Legal action has been initiated against the illegal activities, with protocols drawn up, and a legal assessment is being conducted by the relevant departments.

It should be recalled that earlier, the entrails and bones of 13 donkeys were found dumped in the Akkurgan District of the Tashkent region.
