Store burns down in Samarkand

A fire broke out today, April 10, at a store located in Samarkand district of Samarkand region. This was reported by the regional Department of Emergency Situations.

According to the report, at 8:23 p.m., the regional emergency department received a call through the 112 system reporting a fire at a retail store located in the O‘rtashiq mahalla of Samarkand district. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 8:30 p.m. and fully extinguished the fire by 9:44 p.m.

It was reported that no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently being determined.

It is worth noting that earlier, a major fire broke out at the Beshqo‘rg‘on market in Tashkent’s Chilanzar district. No one was injured in that incident.
