A traffic accident involving three cars and a bus occurred in the Pakhtachi district of the Samarkand region, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the report, the driver of an inter-provincial Cobalt lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Tracker that was traveling in the same direction, causing the Cobalt to overturn. Following this, a Nexia-3 coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with a bus. Tragically, the passenger of the Cobalt died at the scene, and the driver later succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
A criminal case has been initiated, and a preliminary investigation is currently underway.
It’s worth noting that a similar traffic accident involving three cars and a scooter occurred earlier in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent.
