Mirzo Ikhtiyorov appointed press secretary to the governor of Samarkand

By the relevant decision of the governor of the Samarkand region, Mirzo Rustamovich Ikhtiyorov has been appointed as the press secretary to the governor of the Samarkand region. This was reported by the Samarkand regional administration.

It is noted that Mirzo Rustamovich Ikhtiyorov previously served as the head of the information service of the Samarkand regional governor and as the regional governor's press secretary – adviser on information policy issues.

For reference, before his latest appointment, Mirzo Ikhtiyorov worked as the director of the state institution "Samarkand Regional Television and Radio Channel" under UzNTRK and held other positions.

It should be recalled that the former governor of Samarkand, currently the acting governor of Syrdarya region, Erkinjon Turdimov, had previously appointed Manuchehr Boborakhimovich Mirzaev as his press secretary. Mirzaev was later transferred to the Syrdarya regional administration, where he now serves as the head of the information service of the Syrdarya regional governor and as the regional governor's press secretary – adviser on information policy issues.
