Saidov delivers letter from Mirziyoyev to Erdogan

On the same day, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, who is on an official visit to Ankara, met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Saidov announced the meeting on his Telegram channel, expressing his gratitude for being received by the Turkish leader.

"We are honored to be welcomed by His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan," Saidov wrote.

During the meeting, Saidov conveyed the greetings and a letter from Uzbekistan’s President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Turkish leader.

"We have conveyed the sincere greetings and a letter from His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The strong bond of brotherhood between our leaders provides a solid foundation for close cooperation in all spheres. Our peoples, connected by a thousand-year history, traditions, and customs, continue to collaborate closely to build a prosperous future," Saidov stated.

This diplomatic exchange underscores the deepening ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey, reinforcing strategic cooperation across multiple sectors.
