Trial of “Saidaziz Medgorodok” commences

The trial against Saidaziz Saidaliyev, also known as "Saidaziz Medgorodok," along with 28 co-defendants, began today, June 11, in the Yunusobod district court on criminal cases. Aziz Obidov, the Supreme Court spokesman, provided this information.

The Yunusobod district court's criminal cases are being heard under the chairmanship of Mirzajonov.

As per the preliminary investigation body's indictment, the defendants S. Saidaliyev, M. Mirkhodjayev, Sh. Samiyev, A. Akramov, I. Satvaldiyev, F. Alimov, R. Bobonazarov, L. Shomurodov, N. Tulyaganov, Sh. Quvatov, G'. Orinboyev, U. Makhmudov, A. Nurmatov, B. Erkinov, A. Yuldoshev, S. Usmonov, D. Umirzaqov, T. Abdumalikov, D. Badalov, U. Rakhimov, D. Qoshakov, Z. Qayumov, B. Muminov, D. Yunusov, D. Sultanov, B. Samadov, Kh. Riskhiyev, B. Rahmanov, and Yo. Sotivoldiyev is accused of committing crimes under Articles 112, 165, 168, 182, 227, 228, 229, 236, 237, 238, 242, 243, 277, and 28, 211 of the Criminal Code.

Precautionary measures, including "detention" and "receipt of good behavior," have been applied to 28 of the defendants.

The approved indictment identifies 31 victims and 130 witnesses in this case.
