Saida Mirziyoyeva, the Assistant to the President, and Tursinkhan Khudaybergenov, the Presidential Adviser on Sustainable Development of the Aral Sea region, have been entrusted with overseeing the timely and high-quality execution of tasks related to the development of Karakalpakstan. This decision was announced during a meeting on the social and economic development of Karakalpakstan, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on August 19.
To enhance the living conditions of Karakalpakstan's residents, an additional 100 billion sums will be allocated from the national budget before the end of the year.
In the upcoming year, over 1 trillion sums are projected to be allocated to the social sector and infrastructure in Karakalpakstan. This includes the construction and renovation of 24 schools, 5 kindergartens, and 7 medical institutions.
Moreover, 353 billion sums will be dedicated to the development of infrastructure for industrial zones and major production facilities.
