Saida Mirziyoyeva highlights progress in education partnerships with UNICEF

Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, met with Rehina Maria Castigio, the Head of UNICEF's Office in Uzbekistan, on December 12. Mirziyoyeva shared details of the meeting on her Telegram channel, expressing optimism about the outcomes of their cooperation.

The meeting focused on pressing issues and opportunities in the education sector and measures to improve access to education and the primary healthcare system.

“Despite the existing difficulties, we firmly believe that we will achieve significant success as a result of our cooperation,” she stated.

This meeting follows Mirziyoyeva’s recent engagement with Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. During that discussion, the positive results of their collaborative efforts in education were highlighted, including the imminent opening of a branch of Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Uzbekistan.
