Saida Mirziyoyeva attends UN commission session on criminal justice

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, attended the 35th session of the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Vienna, Austria on June 1. She announced this on her Telegram channel.

According to Mirziyoyeva, the session brought together more than 1,500 senior officials and experts from 175 countries. This year, Uzbekistan became a member of the prestigious body for the first time.

“I delivered a national statement on the work being carried out in our country in the areas of justice, protection of the rights of women and children, crime prevention and youth support,” the Head of the Presidential Administration said.

Mirziyoyeva also noted that cybercrime, corruption and domestic violence know no borders. Therefore, she said, they must be addressed jointly through open dialogue, exchange of experience and international cooperation.
