Saida Mirziyoyeva meets with EU Special Representative for Central Asia

On May 14, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan and the eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais. Mirziyoyeva shared details of the meeting on her official Telegram channel.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for further deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union, as well as strengthening regional collaboration within Central Asia.
Special attention was given to initiatives promoting women’s entrepreneurship and education, water resource management, and interregional connectivity.
“We believe that Mr. Stiprais’s extensive professional experience in our region will contribute to the development of our partnership. We are grateful for the open and constructive dialogue,” Mirziyoyeva noted.
It should be recalled that on May 13, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also received Eduards Stiprais. During that meeting, the EU representative conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
