The highly anticipated fight between UFC fighter Nursultan Ruziboev from Uzbekistan and Russia's Rinat Fakhretdinov has been canceled. This was confirmed by sources from QALAMPIR.UZ.

The cancellation is attributed to an injury sustained by Ruziboev, marking the second time his fight has been called off. Previously, a match against Brazilian fighter Kayo Borralo was also canceled due to a leg injury incurred by Ruziboev.

For context, Nursultan Ruziboev has participated in three fights within the UFC, securing victories in two while suffering one defeat. In contrast, 33-year-old Fakhretdinov has competed in five UFC bouts, achieving four wins and recording one draw.

As a result of this cancellation, only one fighter from Uzbekistan is scheduled to compete in the UFC this month. On October 12, 27-year-old Ramazon Temirov will make his debut, taking on American CJ Vergara.
