The scheduled fight between Uzbek UFC fighter Nursultan Roziboyev and American Brian Battle, set to take place in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on August 17, has been canceled. This was reported by the UFC press service.
It was noted that Brian Battle failed to make the required weight for the middleweight division. The fight between Roziboyev and Battle became the first bout to be removed from the UFC 319 tournament card in recent days.
The UFC 319 tournament will take place tomorrow, August 17, and will feature a middleweight title fight between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev.
Roziboyev made his professional MMA debut in 2014 and joined the UFC in 2023. His record includes 36 wins and 9 losses, along with one draw and two no-contests.
