12435Earlier, it was reported that the director of a school specializing in foreign languages in the Buvayda district of Fergana region beat a student who refused to remove her headscarf.
The school principal has been fined. This was reported by the Children's Ombudsman.
It was reported that the administrative case files related to the incident were reviewed by the Buvayda District Court on criminal cases. School director R.Q. (female) was found guilty under Article 41 (Insult) and Article 52, Part 2 (Infliction of minor bodily injury) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and a fine equivalent to 10 times the BCA was imposed on her.
The incident occurred on May 17 of this year. Classmates argued during an algebra class at school. After some time, the school principal entered the classroom. The algebra teacher informed him that the students were quarreling. The school principal asked the girl why she was arguing with her classmate, and why she came to school wearing a headscarf in religious attire, and told her to remove the headscarf. The girl told the school principal that she would not remove her headscarf. Following this, the director hit the girl and injured her.
It should be noted that earlier, it was reported that a man who took "vigilante justice" against a boy who expressed his love for his sister at school was arrested.
