Uzbek man dies after falling from height in Russia

An Uzbek migrant lost his life during construction work in the Moscow district of St. Petersburg, Russia, 78.ru reported.
According to the report, a 24-year-old Uzbek citizen died after falling from a height of more than 3.5 meters while dismantling formwork at a residential complex construction site on Pulkovo Highway. Preliminary findings suggest that the accident was caused by a violation of safety regulations.
The Investigative Committee of Russia and the Labor Inspectorate have launched an inquiry to determine whether safety measures and labor protection regulations were properly followed during the construction work. Investigators are currently working to establish the circumstances leading to the worker’s death.
It should be recalled that earlier, on January 25 at approximately 11:30 p.m., a 42-year-old Uzbek citizen, who worked as a metal structure assembler, fell to his death from a height of approximately 30 meters in the Krakolye quarter near the village of Ust-Luga in the Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region, Russia.
