3 Uzbeks are accused of assaulting a TV channel employee in Russia

6361Three Uzbek nationals have been apprehended for allegedly assaulting an employee of the "Match TV" channel in Moscow, as reported by local media.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 02:30 on July 6 near "Ostankino" when three male immigrants attacked the TV channel employee who was returning from work.
The victim reported the assault to the police, leading to the arrest of the suspects, identified as Uzbekistan citizens aged 22, 24, and 25.
Authorities have launched a criminal investigation under the charge of "Violence committed by a group of persons," which could result in a sentence of up to 10 years in prison for the suspects.
Representatives of "Match TV" acknowledged the incident, stating that details regarding the assault cannot be disclosed. They also expressed readiness to cooperate with law enforcement agencies if required.
