A 60-year-old man from Uzbekistan passed away at a construction site in Bugri village, Leningrad Region, Russia. The information was reported by "78.ru."
The incident occurred on January 25 within the "Enfield" residential complex during ongoing construction. The Uzbek citizen suffered a fatal head injury after falling onto a metal structure and died instantly.
Despite having worked in Russia on multiple occasions, it was discovered that the deceased was not registered with the migration authorities.
In response to the situation, a criminal case may be initiated under the charge of "Violation of safety rules during construction or performance of other duties."
The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
