A criminal case has been initiated in Russia’s Kaliningrad region against several individuals, including citizens of Uzbekistan, for forging documents and illegally registering more than 110 migrants. The Investigative Committee of Russia reported the incident via its official Telegram channel.
According to the investigation, from January 2024 to June 2025, three individuals falsified residential registration records for over 110 citizens from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. This was done by creating fake employment contracts and falsified housing lease agreements.
“The Russian Military Investigation Department has launched a criminal case against Tatyana Glazkova, Bakhtiyor Farajov, and Daniyor Fayziyev under Part 3 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal importation and facilitation of illegal residence of foreign citizens),” the statement said.
The scheme was uncovered during a joint raid conducted by military investigators, the Federal Security Service (FSS) for the Kaliningrad Region, the FSS for the Baltic Fleet, and local military units, along with the regional border department of the FSS.
Following a request by the military investigator, the court has ordered the detention of Tatyana Glazkova as a preventive measure.
It is worth noting that a similar case was previously reported in the Russian city of Volzhsk, where a 63-year-old resident was found to have registered eight Uzbek citizens at his residence. A total of more than 100 individuals were checked during that investigation, with six found to have violated migration laws.
