7783A 34-year-old woman who collapsed at Tashkent International Airport after arriving from Dubai and later passed away has sparked an official response from Uzbekistan Airports.
According to the report, on October 7 at 17:34 (Tashkent time), the airport's medical center was alerted that a passenger was feeling unwell in the arrivals hall. The Uzbek national, born in 1986, had flown on flight HY-334 from Dubai to Tashkent and sought help immediately after completing passport control, complaining of a headache and general discomfort.
“Given the passenger’s complaints and the accounts of those who traveled with her, medical staff at the airport provided first aid and called for a city ambulance to transport her to the hospital,” the statement explained.
The ambulance reportedly arrived at 18:32, almost an hour after the initial report, and took the passenger to the Republican Emergency Medical Research Center.
Earlier, the spokesperson of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Hayot Shamsutdinov, stated that the woman was admitted to the hospital and was receiving necessary medical attention. However, family members told a QALAMPIR.UZ journalist that the woman died on the way to the hospital, contradicting earlier official reports.
