The Special Representative of the President meets with the head of the UK anti-terror company

Ismatulla Irgashev, the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan on Afghanistan, met with Bhavik Shah, the head of the British anti-terror organization focused on Afghanistan, on September 5th. This meeting was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, both sides discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, the provision of humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, and the activation of efforts within the global community to aid in the restoration of the national economy of Afghanistan.

The head of the British organization also acknowledged the significant role played by Uzbekistan in these initiatives. 
The message states, "Bhavik Shah emphasized Uzbekistan's vital role in shaping a regional integrated stance on Afghanistan and our country's efforts to prevent the infiltration of terrorist threats into the countries of the region."
