Saida Mirziyoyeva, the eldest daughter of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the deputy chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Fund for Support and Development of the National Mass Media, asked the authorities to stop imposing unnecessary and illegal tasks on teachers.  She believes that it is very necessary to review the attitude toward teachers in the country.  Mirziyoyeva wrote about this on her Telegram channel.

"I'm very sad to hear that teachers are being forced to go round the houses and make lists of students like they had to twenty years ago.

I believe that a review of the attitude toward teachers is necessary and I ask the authorities to stop imposing unnecessary and illegal duties on them.

The main task of teachers is to ensure the future of our country by educating our children.

This is a very difficult task. "When there are so many problems in the field of education, it is unnecessary to impose some additional tasks on the shoulders of teachers," says the eldest daughter of the President.

She said that forcing teachers to overwork will harm not only the school but also the future of Uzbekistan.

She asked all the responsible persons to solve this problem as soon as possible and to release the teachers from all duties other than teaching.

"Currently, education is the number one priority issue in our country.  We must stop treating teachers as free servants.  I believe that they must become the most respected and honorable layer of society, and for this everyone should work together.  After all, only through education, and only with the help of teachers can we achieve progress.  We must honor our teachers so that our children can find their place in life!" said Mirziyoyeva.

We remind you that earlier, blogger Nikita Makarenko wrote that teachers in Tashkent are being forced to go door-to-door and register school-age children by micro-region.
