President nominates Tanzila Norboyeva for Senate Chairmanship

On November 19, during the first meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the organizational issue of electing the Chairman of the Senate and his deputies was discussed, according to the President's press service.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev nominated Senator Tanzila Norboyeva for the position of Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
The President praised Tanzila Norboyeva’s extensive experience in state and public administration, highlighting that under her leadership, significant improvements were made in ensuring the rights of women and children, as well as in protecting their legal interests.
Additionally, Senator Sadiq Safoyev was nominated for the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Senate, while Senator Amanbai Orinbayev was nominated for the role of Deputy Chairman.
