In the first quarter of 2023, drivers of the Samarkand region were the most intoxicated at the wheel – a total of 900 cases were identified. This is stated in the reports of the Supreme Court.
Khorezm region (797), the Republic of Karakalpakstan (755), Fergana (527) and Andijan (356) took the next places. Below is the complete list.
Since the beginning of the year, 5,709 reports have been issued in Uzbekistan under Article 131 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (drunken driving).
