Priority to be given to construction organizations using foam blocks and gas blocks

Mirziyoyev inspects New Tashkent’s green city and administrative developments

Starting from August 1, 2025, construction organizations that widely use wall-building materials will be given priority on the "Transparent Construction" platform. This is stated in the decree "On the State Program for the Implementation of the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy in the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy" signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to it, from this date, in order to transition from the production of ready-mixed bricks to the widespread use of alternative technologies, priority will be given to construction organizations that widely use wall-building materials (foam blocks, gas blocks) on the platform.

Starting from January 1, 2026, the tax rate for the use of subsoil in the production of ready-mixed and raw bricks will be applied at a rate increased by 2 times compared to the rate established for 2025 and will be increased in stages from 2027.

From January 1, 2027, in order to protect land resources and prevent the loss of the fertile soil layer, the activity of soil quarries will be prohibited on lands intended for agriculture, nature protection, recreation and recreation purposes, lands of historical and cultural significance, forest and water fund lands.

Also, when designing, constructing, and commissioning multi-storey residential buildings, it will be mandatory to organize systems for the use of wastewater, rainwater, and technical water for irrigation.
