Parliament approves Shavkat Mirziyoyev's decree on Karakalpakstan

As it was reported earlier on 20 July, the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decree "On ending the state of emergency in the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan".

This decree was approved by the joint decision of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The two chambers of the Parliament by a joint decision in accordance with paragraph 19 of the first part of Article 78 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the second part of Article 11 of the constitutional law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the State of Emergency" 2022 of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the decree of July 20 "On termination of the state of emergency in the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan".

This joint decision was immediately sent to the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled that with this decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 2 July 2022, "On the introduction of a state of emergency in the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan" No. PF?164, the state of emergency introduced in the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan expired on 21 July 2022 at 05:00 a.m.
