Video surfaces showing teacher in Parkent hitting children with stick (video)

A video has been circulating on social networks showing a teacher at a preschool educational institution in the Tashkent region hitting children with a gymnastic stick. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education provided information on the incident.

It is noted that the incident occurred on January 6 of this year, around 5:00 pm, at State Preschool Educational Institution No. 19 in the Parkent district. A physical education instructor at the institution was seen pushing students with a gymnastic stick and urging them to stand in line. During the investigation, it was found that the teacher also treated the children rudely.

The case was thoroughly investigated, and the employment contract with the physical education instructor was terminated in accordance with Article 157 of the Labor Code (termination of the employment contract by mutual agreement of the parties).

It should be recalled that earlier, after educators at the non-governmental preschool "Tanzilandiya" in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent committed acts of violence against children, and an educator and assistant educator at the non-governmental preschool "First Daycare" in the Yunusabad district taped one of the children to a chair for not eating, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Science, Education, and Health Affairs, Bakhrom Abdullaev, sent a senatorial request to the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova.

On February 28, at a press conference held at IMCA, Sardor Rajabov from the Ministry of Preschool and School Education appealed to the court to issue an appropriate decision regarding the "Tanzilandiya" kindergarten.
