A special event named "Uzbekistan" was held in Paris, the capital of France, to celebrate the Paralympic Games. Otabek Umarov, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia, announced the event on his Instagram page.
The gathering was attended by UNESCO representatives, heads of national Paralympic committees from various countries, and members of the sports community.
"We were delighted to introduce our guests to the reforms implemented in the development of the Olympic and Paralympic movement in our country, as well as Uzbekistan's significant achievements in this area," Umarov wrote on his page.
In addition to Otabek Umarov, his wife, Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva, the First Deputy Chair of the Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, and Mukhtorkhan Toshkhojaev, Chairman of the Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, also participated in the event.
