Sitora Turdibekova from Uzbekistan entered the ring against Lin Yu-Ting from Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) in the women's boxing match of the 2024 Summer Olympics in France and was defeated.
Previously, it was reported that the female boxer from Uzbekistan, Sitora Turdibekova, would fight a male boxer for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition. Additionally, in the women's boxing competition at the Olympic Games, Italian Angela Carini refused to continue the fight in the 46th second against her opponent, Algerian Iman Khelif.
