Pedro Moreira has been dismissed from his role as head coach of Pakhtakor Tashkent, the club's press service announced.
The Portuguese coach's dismissal comes due to the team's unsatisfactory performance this season. Until a new head coach is appointed, Kamoliddin Tojiev will take over as interim manager.
Currently, Pakhtakor is in 12th place in the Super League, having earned 9 points after the 8th round. In their most recent match, the team lost 2-1 to Surkhon.
In addition, two other Super League clubs, Andijan and Shurtan, have also dismissed their coaches. Alexander Khomyakov was let go by Andijan, while Anvar Berdiev was dismissed by Shurtan.
