Oybek Kasimov was appointed to a position in AFC

The general secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Oybek Kasimov was appointed the deputy chairman of the Legal Committee of the AFC.  This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC).

According to the source, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the new composition of its committees, whose term of office is from 2023-2027.  It is important that Oybek Omilovich Kasimov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, was appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Legal Committee of the AFC.  Also, 5 more Uzbek specialists were accepted as members of various committees of the Confederation.

"The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan congratulates Oybek Kasimov and other compatriots on their appointment to new positions and wishes them new success in their future activities," said the message of the NOC.

It should be recalled that earlier the first deputy chairman of NOC, the first vice-president of UFA Ravshan Ermatov was elected a member of the AFC Executive Committee for the Central Asian region and was appointed to the position of deputy chairman of the Referees Committee of the organization.
