Oston Orunov, a member of Uzbekistan's national team, is set to join the Iranian club "Persepolis" for the next phase of his career, as announced by football insider Ivan Karpov.

The 23-year-old player is expected to sign a two-year contract with a reported salary of approximately $807,000 per season.

Having recently played for "Navbahor," Orunov notably scored three goals during his time in the Asian Champions League. Previously, he has also represented Russian clubs such as "Ufa," "Spartak," and "Ural," as well as the Uzbek side "Lokomotiv" from Tashkent.

"Persepolis," a prominent club in Iran, currently occupies the third position in the national championship standings, with 30 points from 15 matches.

It's worth noting that another Uzbekistan national team player, Jaloliddin Masharipov, has also made the move to an Iranian club, as previously reported.
