Start date of new Open Budget season announced

The second season of the 2026 Tashabbusli Byudjet, or Open Budget, process will begin on July 15 this year. The Ministry of Economy and Finance reported this.

It was noted that this will be the eleventh season held since the introduction of the Tashabbusli Byudjet process.

The stages will be held as follows:

• July 15 to August 3 — submission of projects;
• August 4-18 — project selection;
• August 19-21 — campaign stage;
• August 22-31 — voting stage;
• September 1-10 — announcement of additional winners.

For reference, according to the results of the traditional voting stage, the winning projects will be announced on September 1, the day marking the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Earlier, it was reported that additional funds had been allocated for 47 projects that did not win in the first season of Tashabbusli Byudjet this year.
