Yesterday, on August 15, a fire was reported on Sagbon Street in the Olmazar district of Tashkent. It has been determined that the fire was caused by young children playing with matches, according to the information service of "Tashkent City Electric Networks" LLC.

The fire started in a pile of garbage collected by residents near transformer booth No. 278, which has a capacity of 630 kVA. As a result, the fire spread to the outgoing cable network, leaving approximately 80 households without electricity.

An investigation, which included video footage from surveillance cameras in the area, confirmed that the fire was indeed caused by young children playing with matches.

"We urge parents not to leave young children unattended and remind residents not to store flammable items in the protected areas around electrical equipment," the report stated.

It is worth noting that there was also a recent fire in the "Urta-Masjid" neighborhood of the Yashnabad district in Tashkent.
