A disciplinary case has been initiated by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) against the Football Association of Uzbekistan (UFA) for their fans wearing T-shirts featuring unrelated advertising companies during the match against Syria in the first round of the Asian Cup. Football expert Alisher Nikimbayev disclosed this information on his Telegram page.

It's not surprising, given the tradition in Uzbekistan where intellectual rights are often disregarded. The negligence and desire for easy money may result in fines for the UFA, according to a source.

For reference, the match between Uzbekistan and Syria on January 13 concluded in a goalless draw. The Uzbekistan national team is set to face India in their next continental championship match, scheduled for January 18 at 19:30.
