The ranking of Uzbekistan in terms of open data is revealed

6575Uzbekistan secured the 30th position globally and 1st in Central Asia, with a score of 70 points in the open data rating by the "Open Data Watch" organization. This information was reported by the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, based on the organization's data.
The enhancement of Uzbekistan's position in the rating can be attributed to a significant improvement in the population and state budget sub-indicators.
In the Open Data Inventory (ODIN) rating for Uzbekistan:
- 125th place among 125 countries in 2015 with a score of 3 points.
- 168th place among 173 countries in 2016 with a score of 13 points.
- 167th place among 180 countries in 2017 with a score of 18 points.
- 168th place among 178 countries in 2018 with a score of 19 points.
- 44th place among 187 countries in 2020 with a score of 63 points.
- In 2022, it secured the 40th place among 192 countries with a score of 66 points.
At the top of the ranking were Singapore, Poland, and Denmark, while countries like South Sudan, Haiti, and Turkmenistan were positioned at the bottom.
