A new mayor has been appointed to Ohangaron city

A new mayor has been appointed to Ohangaron city in the Tashkent region. Muzaffar Erkaboevich Rajabboev's appointment was announced by the press service of the regional government.

Today, on February 26th, an extraordinary session of the Ohangaron City Council of People's Deputies convened. During the session, Zoyir Mirzaev, the mayor of the Tashkent region, recommended Muzaffar Rajabboev as a candidate for the position of mayor of Ohangaron. Subsequently, Rajabboev was officially appointed as the mayor of Ohangaron by the decision of the Ohangaron City Council of People's Deputies.

For reference, Muzaffar Rajabboev, born in 1984 in the Parkent district, holds a higher education. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration in 2007, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2014, and the International Business and Economics University of the People's Republic of China in 2019.

Rajabboev began his career in the Fire Safety Service of the IIB of Kibrai District and held various responsible positions in the hokims of Upper Chirchik and Parkent districts. Prior to his current appointment, Rajabboev served as a department head in the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment.

It is worth noting that on February 24th, Sherzod Shokirov, who serves as the head of the Internal Affairs Department of Kokdala district, was appointed as the governor of Dehkanabad district, and Sardor Polvanov, who serves as the head of the Khorezm regional office of the Youth Affairs Agency, was appointed as the governor of Khiva district.
