Nursultan Ruziboev sets to battle Eric McConaughey at UFC seattle

Uzbek UFC fighter Nursultan Ruziboev is set to compete in his next fight within the organization on February 22. The announcement was made by the fighter himself on his Instagram page.

On that day, Ruziboev will face American fighter Eric McConaughey as part of the UFC Seattle tournament.

For reference, Ruziboev's upcoming opponent, 34-year-old McConaughey, has participated in 10 MMA fights so far, securing 9 victories. Notably, this fight will mark McConaughey's debut in the UFC. Meanwhile, 31-year-old Ruziboev has an extensive professional career, having fought in 43 matches with 34 wins. In the UFC, he has triumphed in 2 out of his 3 fights.

It is also worth mentioning that earlier reports confirmed that Mashrabjon Ruziboev, the younger brother of Nursultan Ruziboev, has joined the UFC as well. Mashrabjon is scheduled to make his debut on February 16.
