Truck pushes Cobalt several meters in Nukus (video)

Videos circulating on social media show a truck pushing a Cobalt several meters in Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan. The Karakalpakstan Road Safety Department has issued a statement regarding the incident.

According to the report, the accident occurred on October 16 at around 2:20 pm on the D-234 ’’Nukus-Chimboy-Takhtakupir’’ road, between kilometers 3 and 4. A Mercedes-Benz truck, driven by D.M., a Turkish national born in 1960, collided with a Cobalt car driven by R.E., a 1993-born resident of Nukus, resulting in a traffic accident.

Authorities have reported that no one was injured in the traffic accident involving a truck and a Cobalt car in Nukus. The case is currently under preliminary investigation by the Road Safety Department of the Nukus City Public Safety Service.

It is worth noting that earlier, a passenger bus was involved in a traffic accident, colliding with two vehicles in Tashkent. Although the vehicles sustained damage, no injuries were reported in that incident either.
