A gas distribution station in Navoi plundered 14.1 billion sums of the state fund

A gas distribution station in the Navoi region was the cause of a 14.1-billion-som loss to the state.  The press service of "Uzneftgazinspeksia" under the Ministry of Energy reported. 

It is noted that during a control event held in Navoi region in March of this year, external pressure was applied to the electronic gas meter installed in the industrial collector of the gas distribution station "Khoja-Hasan" belonging to the Kogon Main Gas Pipeline Department, located in the territory of the "Malikabad" neighborhood of the Kyziltepa district. 

According to preliminary estimates, the total amount of damage caused to the interests of the state amounted to 14.1 billion soms. 

For information, through this industrial collector, natural gas was delivered to 3 gas-filling compressor stations and 3 greenhouse farms belonging to business entities. 

"Preliminary investigations are currently being conducted by law enforcement agencies in connection with this situation," the report said.
