Today, September 17, at 09:14 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in Uzbekistan, the Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring reported.
The epicenter was located 363 kilometers southwest of Tashkent, in the Konimeh district of Navoi region. The quake had a magnitude of 4, with a depth of 10 kilometers. Its coordinates were 40.74 degrees north latitude and 64.95 degrees east longitude.
The intensity of the earthquake in Uzbekistan was as follows:
- 3 points in Gijduvan district, 23 km from the epicenter
- 2 points in Konimeh district, 57 km away
- 2 points in Navbahor district, 57 km away
It is worth noting that an earthquake also occurred earlier in Afghanistan, which was felt in parts of Uzbekistan.
