Another bus accident reported in Navoi region (video)

On January 17, another bus accident occurred in Navoi region, leaving two people injured. The regional Road Traffic Safety Department reported the incident.

According to the information, at around 07:00, a Zhong Tong bus traveling on the Navoi–Zarafshan route lost control while driving along the A-379 Navoi–Uchkuduk international highway, between the 189th and 190th kilometers, within the Tomdibuloq rural community area of Tomdi district. As a result, the bus overturned into the opposite lane, causing a traffic accident.

It was reported that two injured individuals were taken to a medical facility in Zarafshan city. A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are currently underway.

It is worth noting that earlier, a bus carrying 47 passengers also overturned in Tomdi district of Navoi region. That incident resulted in two fatalities.
