Person wanted by police arrested in Navoi

A man suspected of committing fraud in the Bukhara region and wanted by law enforcement agencies has been arrested in Navoi. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

Man arrested after stabbing 2 young men and setting fire to their home in Tashkent  

According to the report, the individual, identified as T.Y., was wanted under Article 168, Part 3 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code for evading investigation. A warrant had been issued by Gijduvon District’s Department of Internal Affairs. Registered in Zarangari neighborhood, the suspect was found hiding in the Karmana district of the Navoi region, where he was apprehended.

The suspect is currently being held in a pre-trial detention center.

Note: Earlier, a person wanted in Uzbekistan for committing a crime and evading investigation was apprehended in Russia. The individual, accused of causing intentional moderate bodily harm, was detained in Moscow and subsequently extradited to Uzbekistan.
