Man arrested after stabbing 2 young men and setting fire to their home in Tashkent  

A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, which was deliberately set. Two young men were stabbed during the incident. This was reported in the "Millar" program.

According to reports, the suspect had been visiting his friend's house in the Sergeli district when an unexpected disagreement occurred between them. In response, the suspect took a knife from the kitchen and injured the two young men in the house.

The injured men were immediately hospitalized. According to the hospital, both victims underwent surgery and are now in stable condition.

Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, confirmed that a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2, Article 97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder). The suspect has been detained, and the Sergeli District Prosecutor's Office is currently conducting pre-investigation procedures.

It is worth recalling that earlier in the Tashkent region, a 25-year-old man was arrested after fatally stabbing his wife and mother-in-law.
