Poachers who attacked environmental inspector in Navoiy arrested

Earlier, it was reported that poachers in the Navoiy region had used force against an environmental inspector. The Qiziltepa district police conducted an investigation, identified the individuals in the video, and brought them to the police station, the Navoiy Regional Department of Internal Affairs reported.

During the investigation, it was established that five individuals from the Bukhara region had entered the “Todakol” water reservoir area for hunting, and while the environmental officer I. Khojaev was performing his official duties, but they ignored his lawful demands and used force against him.

When inspecting the vehicle trunk, authorities found 1 wild rabbit, 2 wild ducks, and 4 hunting weapons for which storage permits were available.

All necessary expert examinations have been assigned by the Qiziltepa district police, and pre-trial investigation activities are ongoing.

It is worth noting that previously in Fergana, a deputy mayor had used force against an environmental inspector.
