Persons involved in narcotics and psychotropic substance trafficking were arrested

In several regions, individuals involved in the sale of psychotropic substances imported from Kyrgyzstan and narcotic substances imported from Tajikistan were arrested, as reported by the State Security Service.

During a rapid response operation conducted by officers of the Security Service of the State of the Syrdarya region, in collaboration with internal affairs bodies, a Cobalt car driven by a previously convicted individual born in 1997, residing in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, was stopped and inspected while traveling towards Tashkent-Jizzakh. As a result, 3,080 units of a powerful drug named "Regapen" were found hidden in the car's trunk and were formally documented in procedural order.

A citizen born in 2001, who was a criminal associate of the aforementioned individual, was also arrested. It was discovered that these drugs had been brought from the Kyrgyz Republic through detours.

During a rapid operation conducted by the State Security Service in cooperation with customs authorities in Fergana city, a resident of the Fergana district, born in 1990 and with a previous conviction, was caught selling 2,799 units of the powerful drug "Regapen," imported from the Kyrgyz Republic, for 65 million soums.

In another case, a resident of the Fergana district, born in 2000 and with a previous conviction, was caught grossly violating established procedures at the "Uzbek-Kyrgyz" state border while transporting 5,600 units of the powerful drug "Regapen" from the Kyrgyz Republic.

In a rapid response operation conducted in the Khorezm region, a truck traveling towards Tashkent-Khorezm was stopped and inspected in the Hazorasp district. In the truck's trunk, 1 kg 814 g of the substance "opium" was found hidden in a domestic air conditioner and was duly documented.

It was determined that this "killer" substance belonged to a citizen born in the Hazorasp district in 1991. The rapid operation continued, and he was apprehended while receiving the air conditioner. Additionally, 158 grams of "opium" and 1 kg 988 grams of "hashish" were found in his apartment. Two citizens, born in 1989 and 1991, residing in the Denov district of the Surkhandarya region, who supplied him with drugs, were also arrested, and 424 grams of "opium" were confiscated from one of their apartments.

In this case, it was determined that the narcotics were imported from the Republic of Tajikistan.

In a rapid response operation conducted in the Qorgontepa district by employees of the Andijan region department of the Security Service of the State, a Nexia motor vehicle traveling towards the city of Andijan was stopped and inspected with the participation of impartial witnesses. It was discovered that the vehicle contained 4 kg 861 g of a powerful substance named "Pregabalin," belonging to two citizens traveling as passengers, who had been brought from the Kyrgyz Republic. The rapid action continued, and an individual residing in Andijan, born in 2001, was apprehended while taking possession of these powerful substances.

Additionally, two women, born in 1987 and 1992, residing in the Shahrikhon district, who were acquaintances of the aforementioned individual, were detained in a procedural order. Authorities confiscated 1 kg 987 g of the substance "Pregabalin" and 1,342 units of the powerful drug "Regapen" from them.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals in connection with all the incidents, and preventive measures of imprisonment have been applied.
