14927In the Namangan region, 35 people who were evading court proceedings and investigations were apprehended during control measures aimed at addressing the criminal situation. This information was reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Namangan region.
"Within the framework of the 40-day emergency preventive measures in the Namangan region, efforts are being made to curb crime, prevent early violations, ensure the safety of citizens and regional peace, and stabilize the criminal situation through practical collaboration between the internal affairs bodies of the Namangan region and other law enforcement agencies," the report stated.
Specifically, the operation has resulted in the handling of 20 cases involving large quantities of narcotics, 7 cases related to the possession and transfer of 4,615 psychotropic drugs, 13 cases of illegal weapons, and 190 cases involving ammunition. Additionally, more than 61,000 pieces of various pyrotechnics were found to be in circulation illegally.
Furthermore, 35 individuals who were evading investigation and judicial authorities were apprehended, ensuring the rule of law.
As part of the ongoing efforts to prevent crimes and violations, special operational measures are being implemented to guarantee the inevitability of punishment for criminal activities.
